The Most Awesome Refired Beans In The World
I love it when my readers send in their favorite recipes. Here is one sent in by Michele Borja Gibbard. Thanks, Michele.
4 Lg. Cans of whole cooked pinto beans – 3 drained of liquid.
1 lb. of bacon – cooked til crunchy – SAVE BACON GREASE
1 lb. of Beef chorizo – cooked in frying pan
1 8oz. package of Sharp Cheedar cheese
Pour all of the cans of beans in to deep pan, add crumbled bacon & grease, chorizo & cheese. Heat until cheese is melted. A fast way to mash the beans if with a mixer. Mash and serve – YUMMY!!!!
