Homemade Salsa Recipe
Makes 3 to 4 cups.
Ingredients
3 or 4 Roma tomatoes, chopped
2 hass avocados, sliced into small chunks
1/4 cup red onion, minced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small yellow bell pepper, cut into small chunks
1/2 tsp. olive oil
1 cup cantaloupe melon, cut into 1/2 inch chunks
1 or more jalapeno or serrano chile, remove stem and seeds, chop fine
juice from one lime
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl except the avocado and mix well. Add the avocado and stir in gently. Let this homemade salsa recipe sit at room temperature for an hour before serving so the flavors can mix.
