Here is a delicious white cheese dip you really must try. Now the secret is out.
You’ll need:
2 lbs hot n sweet sausage (Jimmy Dean is the best)
6 oz cream cheese (the cream cheese is what makes it so creamy)
2 Tbsp sour cream (Daisy brand)
1 lb white cheddar cheese or monterey jack cheese (any kind)
1 pkg ortega taco seasoning
1 green pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
1/4 tsp garlic salt and/or powder
1/4 tsp pepper
and a skillet and a Crockpot

First brown the sausage in skillet. While sausage is cooking combine cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, garlic salt and/or powder and pepper into a mixing bowl and blend until creamy.

Next drain sausage and add sausage to crockpot, then add cream cheese mixture to sausage and stir.

Finally, cube white cheddar or monterey jack cheese and dice the green pepper and onion and add to crockpot.

Slow cook on high for 30 to 45 minutes or until creamy then turn to low and serve with tostito chips. (Don’t forget to stir the cheese!)

Melissa, Thanks for sending in this delicious sounding white cheese dip recipe. Can’t wait to try it.

I was wondering if one could also add the diced onion and bell pepper to the sausage when cooking it? I think that could add some extra nice flavor to the sausage.

What a great dip to bring or share for a party.

Thanks again!

Yes You Can Add The Onion/Bell Pepper To Sausage!

That would be a nice taste to add to the sausage. You can also add a little bit of heavy whipping cream if you would like the dip to be really creamy.
